:o Do you guys have a toaster (a proper one that allows you to make those realy cool spaghetti sandwiches that don't have noodle pieces falling out because when you toast it it's packed in, like the cute little bite size pieces we had in pre-school)? We didn't have that back in the day.

Ah yes, sandwich press that's what they're called.
Well i remember the bugs, but i also remember the mortein underneath the sink of the senior common room :) Not that it helped much, the whole room was such a dark, dystopian place (although the lighting of your photo is fabulous).
Ah good times, uni lounge feels that much more cosier now thinking back. We get distilled drinking water, plush sofas, a microwave and even balconies overlooking the UNSW walkway.
Law is good :)
