Okay HI EVERYONE.
Saw a few people at school today. Yes I was at school today.
How refreshing to see faces that didn't belong to my family :)
Anyway, today's post was inspired by a photo I found online. And I'd like to use that to stress HOW SMALL A CYBERWORLD WE LIVE IN.
So everyday (no matter how busy I am) I surf around blogosphere searching for fun things- such as really good sales (not that I ever buy anything, but you know, just surveying what's around) AND THEN I FOUND A PICTURE OF SANDY'S SISTER ON HER FRIENDS BLOG.
Yes. And I know where she lives now. (suburb of course. I didn't pry that deep) Bahaha, but now I know all the names of the people in the photo and what school & grade they are from, and obviously I have a rough estimate of their ages.
SO WOAAH. :) Kids like me, endanger all the kids around me. :(
Sorry all.
I'll try to be less open from now on :/ and perhaps mention less names on my blog. And next year when I move onto Wordpress, I'll delete everything here (though I'm sure bits of it will still linger in cyberspace- people have pasted my blog link on their pages, or sometimes even used my pictures. D: so yeah. ==; I'll try to get everything organised and privatised in the holidays, and afterwards I'll touch up my wordpress- bahaha no WP battle thanks Joseph) YEAH.
After exams, I looked in my bag and couldn't find my keys so I was like D: and Alice had my phone, and she went home D: So I decided to walk to the closest shopping centre (lol) to look for my mum. She was there and made me run a few errands, including sampling some liquid foundation for her D:
I can safely say here, that I despise make up, no matter how beautiful you can become after the nasty process of sampling and slopping greasy mess all over your face and neck.
What I did was take samples from each of the colours and smear a bit on the inner side of my arm and compare the similar colours between the different brands.
I smell like foundation now. *shudder* It's so gross.
Digressing slightly, I purchased something for myself, called Hair Moisturing Cream. Sounds retarded but my cousin swore by it and said it was a super great thing for super messy/unmanageable hair. Comes in a 200mL bottle, and smells great, like all other Garnier products (I don't like their shampoos/conditioners though D: )
Post HSC I really need to get a job to support my food hobbies.
Honestly, everyday I spend a disgusting amount of money on food. It's really quite sad watching all this cash flow out of my wallet at such a rapid speed. I miss it now :/ but at the time, that molten lava cake looked worth it.
I guess it was worth it :/
SEE?! This is why I'm obsessed with money. Well not obsessed, but I aim to FIND LOTS OF IT (I mean, earn) So I can do what I like with it, such as sampling delectable desserts.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO HIGH TEA.
At the end of the term, I'm going to call up a few hotels and ask them about desserts etc. Whichever place has a chocolate fountain with lots and lots of cake, I will go to.
Belle's food adventures.
I am looking forward to that :)
Wooooh. yay for materialism. lol.
2umaths + jap ext speaking tomorrow (btw Chris Au, I don't think I did THAT bad in today's exam. It was easier than I thought it would be and I though I cruised through the spirited away section)
Ladidah. I am in such a good mood right now because of Maccas + okay performance in jap + new product to test out.
And now maths (THANKYOU to Quentin for the "cheat" sheet. It's so nice and neat and all typed up !) , :) which I sort of like now XD
SPEAKING HOWEVER.... ==; grawr.
OFF TO STUDY NOW. :) HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK. I still have tonnes of exams next week ==; TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES. OKAY?!
Take care and don't get sick :)

"Fag" thread on BOS
I am at home today.

I, and a thousand other people, will be driven to the opposite end of the earth. I can't believe some guy suggested this. THIS IS TERRIBLE. It spells out "I'm a sixty year old man and I love 20 year old women" or something.
*shudder*
You know what else makes me shudder? Knowing that any day now, my face scub thingy will run out, and I have no replacements for it because it was bought in HK :( I don't like chaaangee.
Speaking of change, something exciting is happening. But everyone already knows about it. ATAR. No more 100uai.
:/ actually there isn't much to say about it, because I don't really mind- don't see how it will really affect me. But aaanywayy. I need to start my applications. And I need to update my resume. :(
Hope I am well enough for school tomorrow.
Bye!

Long weekend driving/eating/outing frenzy

ANYWAY. I've been eating alot these hols :) Yay. Visited 85 degrees TWICE in two days. Which is just fabulous.

Look after your skin boys!
BEFORE I BEGIN: A shout out to EDDY AND NATHAN :) Because they wanted me to. Hi guys . TY FOR SAYING MY BLOG IS MORE INTERESTING THAN CHRISAU'S (speaking of Chris Au, his bag is funky XD )
Alright. I decided to do this because 9.15 is too early to go to bed and I'll have nothing to do anyway.
So in the past few years, there's been dramatic change regarding guys and their looks etc, thus the rising metrosexual trends etc. Even though I bag out guys why spend alot of time being vain, I accept some of the things they do. One of these things is maintaining nice skin.
Now think about it. Daily doses of sunlight, sometimes sun burn, wind burn, hormone influx, chickenpox, our skin goes through alot. Despite regenerating new skin everyday, we still have to look after it because what we do to it today will be reflected in the future.
Simplest things you can do to maintain healthy skin:
- Drink at around 2 L a day- This will flush the toxins out of your system so they won't turn up in little pustules appearing on your face D:
- Wash daily, preferably twice and use a moisturiser that is suited to your skin.
- SLEEP. This is important. I know Í'm being a hypocrite, but I'm hoping this will change for me. Our skin needs time to rest and while we're sitting infront of computers or partying away at night, it doesn't get any of that. Getting some shut eye is the best solution. Apparently, the most crucial skin repairing/resting time period is between 11pm and 2am. So if you want lovely skin.. you know what to do.
Into more specific things now- wash your face daily, once in the morning, once at night. Washing your face in the morning can take off all that dirt and oil you've accumulated in your period of slumber and make your face look brighter and cleaner :D. Before you go to bed, you want to make sure your skin can breathe so it can rest easily at night.
Your daily ritual can be broken into 3 basic parts.
- CLEANSING: If you are someone with relatively dry skin, look for a cleanser that has no soap (I recommend Cetaphil soap-free cleanser, but it has no bubbles or anything. + retains moisture in the skin) because soap dries skin out even more can cause irritations where you do not want it. There are tonnes of different cleansers that are available in the supermarket aisles, but if you're not picky and you just want to maintain the health of your skin, just pick a deep cleaning one or one of those "daily scrubs". It's easy peasy, follow directions on the back of the tube (or bottle). Usually it's just wet face, squeeze about 2cm of cleanser into palm, lather between your hands and SCRUB IN A CIRCULAR motion on your face. Remember to not neglect areas behind your ears, your neck and on the side of your nose where blackheads can build up. Some cleansers have beads in them and it sort of exfoliates your skin, but doing that every day is sort of detrimental to your skin, as well as making the skin more prone to becoming oily during the day. Also, using lukewarm water would be nice because it allows the pores to open up a little so you can get all that gunk out. I think that's about it for cleaning.. xD
- TONING: Basically what happens here is you want to shrink the pores on your skin so it won't trap as much dirt/dust during the day. Some people like to use alcohol based toners because alcohol works well to shrink pores, but I think a more skin friendly/wallet friendly way is just to splash your face with freaking cold water. You can feel your skin tighten when you do that ('tis a good feeling). How to use alcohol toner: get a cotton swab and just put a little bit of the toner on it and wipe over face. Usually you'll be able to pick up dirt that you didn't wash off.
- MOISTURISING: When you use an alcohol toner, you MUST moisturise your skin. Moisturisers. There are so many different ones for different skin types. If you have oily skin, find a moisturiser that is NOT oil based, preferably water based. Disliking the oily shine on your face? Use a mattifying moisturiser that will absorb most of the oil forming in the skin. If you have dry skin, go for the greasy ones. If you have combination skin, there are TONNES of oil-free moisturisers that hide shine and they're usually non greasy. When hunting for a moisturiser, make sure you don't choose the oil based products. The reason is because they clog up pores, trapping dirt and impurities, causing infection-> pimple. Examples of these products include chapsticks, vaseline.. If you have a really, really bad dry patch, try some vaseline (this stuff if also good for elbows and knees). If you have sensitive skin, choose a moisturiser without alcohol, fragrance-free and allergy tested.
Okay.
AND THE WEEKLY THING
EXFOLIATE. This gets rid of the layer of dead skin on your face and is quite important. Do it about once or twice a week depending on how oily your skin is. Doing it too often will irritate the young and tender skin xD so don't exfoliate daily. There are tubes of exfoliating scrubs with beads (or microbeads) and it feels like you're rubbing sand and moisturiser on your face. Afterwards, the skin is nice and smooth :)
MASKING: Using a face mask (like Chris) once a week (CLAY MASK) will absorb sebum off your face. Sebum feels oily, and it's secreted from oil glands in our skin. It exists to make our hair/skin waterproof etc, but too much of it is bad and blocks pores etc. I think it usually comes out of our hair follicles, hence BLACKHEADS (watch out for those pesky things) and it causes acne. So yeah. Masking once of twice a week is good.
THE OVERALL THING. Stress less. Changes in your hormone level influence the things that appear on your face.
That's about it for my first ever WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR SKIN post.
I never knew there was SO much to it. I feel so knowledgeable, though I guess most is common sense.

Saturday's Haul
VANITY SPREE.
1. Softlips Gelato Range- French Vanilla Chappy :)
2. Garnier- Pure 3 in 1 Wash, Scrub & Mask
3. The Body Shop- Tea Tree Oil Huile D'arbre Á Thé
4. & 5. Rubi Flats :O
Altogether= approx. $50
MY FIRST REVIEW (LOL)
8-)
So my most recent chapstick EXPIRED, and I wanted a new one asap before winter started D: It's sometimes chilly in the morning :/ Kelly recommended Softlips chappy :) Got it for under $5 which is good :/ I guess, because before I was hunting through Grace Bros, sorry, Myer (I keep saying Grace Bros.. nggh) and they had tinned lip balm for OVER $20 O_O First thing I did after I walked out of the pharmacy was to try it. Smelled yummy, and felt super soothing- menthol. PLUS FACTOR: Isn't shiny like gloss or anything :) (so boys can wear it too.. my dad used to refuse to wear lip balm.. he said it was too "girly" PSH. asif) MINUS: You have to reapply quite often. Unlike the Blistex Ultra Lip Balm...
Omg that stuff goes on white and looks flaky, but it stays. So I use that for bivs and big outdoor activities because it's water resistant for 80 mins or so and has SPF 30+ :D
Next item: Garnier Pure
This is the first time I've purchased any of the Garnier facial cleansing products. I don't like their shampoos because they're too runny =-=; and the bright green bottle looks really weird & clashes with the bathroom walls (lol).
Wash, Scrub and Mask. Honestly, the only difference between wash and scrub is that with scrubbing you massage the stuff into your face in a circular motion. : The good thing about it is that it sort of retains enough moisture in your face so that it doesn't feel dry. I used it this morning and forgot moisturiser and I feel A-okay :)
Tried the mask last night while watching Edward Scissorhands. :D:D:D (and Hulk) I had a greenish face. You can seriously feel it penetrate into your face x) and when I washed it off, my face felt smooth like a baby's bottom without poo stuck to it.
I don't think it's 3 in 1. Scrub = Wash, hence 2 in 1. I recommend it to those who have COMBINATION SKIN. :) esp the mask part. It feels niicee. Also, having 2 products in one is also quite convenient. I don't have to stumble around in the bathroom blindly looking for different bottles :)
NUMBER THREE: Tea Tree Oil. Okay, recently, due to increased snacking sessions :( I got alot of isolated but prominent spots on my face D: I was okay about it until one day when my dad says "When did you get so many pimples?" Before, 2 was not a number I would consider to be many, but after he said it, I felt slightly self conscious. So I had to find a product to ATTACK those invaders. This stuff comes in a childproof cap (Belle proof also) and took me ages to take off. lol. It smells quite strong, but I like the scent. Others like KELLY don't like it too much . haha. But its a natural and gentle way of conquering those little red rascals that pop up here and then. Hopefully it works. If it does, I plan on making my own little all-natural-organic skin care collection. (I've decided it's an okay thing to invest in, because I don't want to have saggy, scarred skin when I'm 40ish D:) Direction: 2 drops on a cotton bud and wipe onto any spot you want to get rid of. Do this about 3 times a day. :) $10 for 10mL. D:
4 et 5 numero; I needed new shoes because 2 pairs of mine died :) I admit, Rubi's shoes look quite the opposite to sturdy, however they were not expensive. $15 for a pair, 2nd pair half price. :) There. Good thing about these shoes is that they don't hurt (or give you blisters around your achilles area) like alot of flats do. So say goodbye to the days of wearing bandaids or elastoplast to prevent those nasty buggers. I'm scared the soles of the shoes will come off though. These shoes feel quite flimsy. I'll only wear these on sunny days. :) Don't want to risk the colour running off when I go out on a rainy day D:
So thus ends my strange/retarded review.
My last post was rather short. I shall expand on it here. KRISSYBUBBLES (AKA CHRIS AU) has a blog now. :) So I decided to link you all. This boy cracks me up and hopefully will crack you up too. He is one of the many musically gifted friends I have and claims to be pitch perfect (lol hehe jk). Stuff he writes is enjoyable to read, so if you have time CLICK IT.
Nggggh. So much stuff due tomorrow. I shall start homeworking now :)
Have a good week everyone.

ANYWAY. not much happened today.
i think i saw my ex-bestie on the bus today. :O
I HATE YOU SUBWAY ADS. Even if you are on for just 5 seconds, you still piss me off because:
#1. that song is good.
#2. you replay the ad SO MANY TIMES DURING ONE ADBREAK. I counted THREE.
#3. it really pains me to watch weird random people shuffling across the screen
#4. the people can't dance
#5. i hate subway anyway
Bridget Parker, you are a hormonal bitch. You piss me off so much, and I can't believe a person like you got so much screen time.
Yes. Bridget Parker is from Neighbours. She is the teen pregger who decides to put the baby up for adoption because she isnt ready and wont let her parents look after it because she thinks her mum isnt doing it for the right motive etc. STFU BRIDGET AND LISTEN TO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING. WATCHING YOU TALK ABOUT THE BABY EVERY NIGHT IS STARTING TO PISS ME OFF. PLEASE JUST STAB YOURSELF AND DIE.
Boo for breakouts. I HATE YOU PIMPLES. YOU WERE MY FRIEND WHEN YOU DIDNT EXIST ON MY FACE, EVEN THOUGH WE MET OFTEN (on Kelly's face :D) I hope you die, very very soon.
SBHS prefect arvo tea tomorrow. shall be another intersting experience. my last chance to grab some good ideas for our afternoon tea :D
I LOVE YOU LLGCYY. I LOVE YOU LEGACY. WE ARE ANOTHER STEP CLOSER TO THE FINALS> :) MAY YOU CONQUER ALL
