NEWFOUNDLOVE

Hi everyone,

After sleeping through the day, making my dad my slave (bringing me cups of water, food to eat and moar tissues), I finally have enough strength to sit at the computer and stare at a very very bright screen.

I think the anti-biotics I'm on are making my headache worse :/ weird.

My doc told me to talk Panadol with the Panadol, but I've always been very erK with drugs. So I won't mix. Who knows what kind of reaction I'll have :(

Before I give you guys the AWESOMEST thing I've stumbled upon in a while (don't worry, it's not food), and before you all go away and go through the link, I'd like to thank yee all for the very nice get-well wishes and yes, I'd love to get well asap. Didn't linger around at school for too long because I didn't want to infect anyone :)

Anyway, to the main subject.

Thanks to Joan (bahaha again! :) for this ubercute photoblog.

Even Buddha said it was cute :)
*fangirls*
I know I'll be doing just that. They're so cute.
Wheehee. I love these teef.
:( I want a DSLR. After playing around with Sharon's and Bosco's I really, really, really feel like I "need" one.
Boo. Time to do maths. And English. x)
See you all in the near future :)

I want to gauge mine eyes out. Wth. I thought he was the best out of the trio D:

Edit: I just finished going on my daily net stalking rampage. One of my favourite non-mainstream artists on youtube lives so close :O! I will spend more time camping at Castle Towers now :)

Babyporridge :) She has such a nice voice :)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME DRUEL (hi jason!)

Long weekend driving/eating/outing frenzy

HI EVERYONE. Long time not blog (not actually that long :/ but it feels like it has been a very very very long time.)

I've been quite the facebooker this past fortnight, doing tonnes of quizzes/wasting time etc =.= Atm, completïng a "how sexy is your name?" purely because I looked at Callums score and wondered if I could beat him. :D

ANYWAY. I've been eating alot these hols :) Yay. Visited 85 degrees TWICE in two days. Which is just fabulous.

TODAY'S CAKE HAUL:

Flash was too bright D: damn.
OKay. Just finished the quiz. It's a pretty gay one 8-) I think it depends on the number of letters in your name 8-) Christopher Tang**************************** would do heaps well in that :)
SPEAKING OF GAY (quiz, not topher), MUSICAL- The Merry Widow I watched last night.
Okay. Honestly, I expected this night to not go as well as it did.
First of all, when people asked me "what row are you sitting in" and I replied "DD" they'd be like "HAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA THATS THE COUPLES ROW" (with Kris/h, Janet & Jero, Mindy&Gaby). But it wasn't as awkward as everyone made it out to be. You see, I didn't see them AT ALL (except during the interval) and I'm sure the musical was entertaining enough to keep their attention diverted to it. And it wasn't really the couples row. Majority of us sitting there are unattached :/ What lies. Infact, Kris wasn't even in our row (==; that was quite inconvenient). He was sitting behind me and prodded me every 10 mins during the show which was quite bothersome. Krishan Subhaharan, if you ever read this, YOU ARE SO ANNOYING D:<
But going back to the actual musical itself.... I found it WILDLY entertaining. Frances blew me away- A VERY GOOD JOB. Everyone else :/ not bad.
SHI-LING & CABBAGE :D WELL DONE. IT WAS SO FUNNY :D :D :D
I laughed so much during the show- just ask Rohan :)
Though I have to say, HAKEEM STOLE THE SHOW.
IT WAS SO GOOD.
;D
I THINK WE ALL EYEGASMED AT HIS SPECTACULAR DANCING SKILLS :D IT WAS SO GOOD.
---
SO what happened before musical?
Well I drove to Chatswood, which was one of the most PERILOUS courses I've ever driven.
1. WINDY, HILLY, SLOPEY ROAD
2. Pathetic people with "Baby on board" signs stuck on their cars drove at 70K on a 45k road
3. Sister complaining in the backseat made me want to slam on the accelerator and fall off the road, down into the valley of darkness and trees and sleep eternally.
No, it wasn't that bad.
Got beeped once because I was travelling at the CORRECT speed 8-) I understand why road rage exists. Man. I was so freaked out. XD'
First of all, this is not a NORMAL road. It's a MOUNTAIN road. If I veer off to the side, I'll fall off the mountain :( So yeah, I was really creeped out by the fact that I COULD have ended 3 lives with a wrong turn of the steering wheel :( I've always been afraid of these roads, AND I TOTALLY FORGOT THERE WAS A MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US AND CHATSWOOD. OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE NEVER AGREED TO DRIVING THERE.
Anyway, we got to Chat Chase and I was going to park.
Saw tonnes of Merc & BMW & shiny luxury cars. Felt weird driving a Holden X) D: NOT BELONGING. But at least I knew out of all the cars that could be stolen/broken into, ours would not be one of them (hehe). This thought always makes me feel better. Bahaha.\
Dootdidoot. Spent alot of money at chatswood (damn my working keycard). But it wasn't on clothes. TWAS ON FOOD @ 85 DEGREES CAFE. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT. Bought 5 different breads and just ate and ate. mm me loves.
Dad spent the most though. But it wasn't for himself. He just bought some elasticy thingy to stretch his arms :/ some thing his physio recommended. He bought a jumper for my sister (she's been whinging about it for ages)
K: I WANT A JUMPER FROM COTTON ON
M: YOu already have one..
K: I WANT ONE FROM COTTON ON
B: ... dude you already have one
K: WELL YOU HAVE ONE!!
B: : WOAAAH, I BOUGHT THIS (with my keycard ==;;;;;;;;;; )
K: I WANT ONE
D: FINE (now shuddup)
SO she got one. 8-) I should use her whingey methods to get stuff I want.
Digressing,
Delving into the past now. My dad is very vain. And I guess part of that is reflected in me :D
Yesterday we bought a CK one Summer (which I think is unisex :O) eau de toilette. Little luxuries that make my day. Bahaha. I guess we can share it. So refreshing.
Initially we entered the shop looking for the Marc Jacobs Daisy line :/ but I decided against it ($120 - Actually should have got it).
So yeah. This is my secret love. THE BOTTLES ARE SO AWESOME. I swear, next time I get on a plane, I'll spend heaps on those small perfume samples that come in the mini bottles. :O They're so cute and they are shaped so nicely.
Dumdidum. Moving on.
This morning, I got kicked out of bed, being told I was supposed to drive everyone to Cabra for pho.
SO I did. And it was fun.
I love how the limit was 70 for the majority of the trip. Funderful. I love driving fast. THERE WAS THIS DOUCHE (I used this word too much :( Used it last night and it turned heads) who changed lanes RIGHT INFRONT OF ME without indicated and left it way way way too late. : Gayness. I hate drivers who don't obey the rules.
After pho, dad drove home and i thought (i) ! LETS GO TO CITY , 85 DEG FOR CAKE.
DAD: BD YES LETS
KELLY: YAY
SO I drove ot the city and I got us cake. yum.
Then bought some GARN SURY ZHONG. (that zhong zi stuff- sweet kind. with red bean mm) @ $4 each D: WHEN DID THINGS LIKE THIS BECOME SO EXPENSIVE! Bought from St Honours on Sussex St. LOVE it. Yummy.
==; I love food.
I also love those old HK action movies. Bahaha the fake thrilling music (violins playing the same short notes for ages) Dad's watching one atm, and my eyes just drift from my screen to his, it's so amusing.
Atm, this triad guy (it's always about the triads ehh. bahaha awesome) is trying to look for his gf who is a prostitute (it's always a prostitute gf) who is about to get raped by the triad boss dude. He's so weak he can't break down the door after 15 or so tries. ;D After the long time we have to wait for him to break the door down, he proceeds to kill the triad leader dude. :O THIS IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MOVIES WITH TRIADS. THERES ALWAYS SO MUCH BLOOD AND KILLING in such an awesome fashion. I love it. And the nicknames in these movies. There's a guy called "marn tou" which is like.. the steamed sweet bun 8-) But yeah. Triad men + women. I should create a tag for this. I seem to talk about it alot. hehe.
OTHER THINGS I LOVE:
Clouds
Looked better in real life.
Kelly's falling asleep
==;
Awfully boring post, sorry everyone. I feel very sleepy at the moment. Feeling very full from cake- very content :)
I never knew she had a blog :)
ANYWAY. Confirming what I've said in some of my previous blogs, I'll be moving to wordpress in uni, after I find a good layout 8-) My currently blog has a very nice personal feel to it, and it's very handy but I love the sophisticated feel that comes with Wordpress.
So yeah.
Have a happy MONDAY everyone. School resumes on Tuesday :( ECO & BIO due :( :(

Lobster fun

I ate a lobster today.

It's body was bigger than my face.

And we all know lobsters have heads bigger than their bodies.

Anyway. It was still moving when it was presented to us on the table. And I prodded it and moved its legs to see what reaction it would have (I actually regret it now. It must have been in so much pain)... :(

On the way home, I had to stop the car, stick head out the car door and puke into a plastic bag.

Sorry lobster. I'm sorry we had to eat your raw.

My sister can't take the picture we took of it out of her phone at the moment.

So this will be a short pictureless blog. :( I feel guilty for prodding/eating the pained lobster. I now understand why people refuse to eat meat. However it still doesn't explain vegan-ism.

:( Feeling super sick. But I will be at school.

Musical this week. Muchos exciting :D

Good luck cabbage. I'm sure you look dashing in your costume.

I loled at Joseph's latest post about the ways Kiwis pronounce words.
It's great.

Keep up the good work.

This ends today's post.

Have a good week everyone.

P.S. I've driven so much this weekend. Reached 78km/h. It was mad.

INQ1 Photos- Batch one

This is to show you all how bad the 3.2 mp camera of the INQ1 is.
I'm shocked & appalled. I thought it could do so much better. My old Samsung Z400 was 2mp and it could take better photos.

JOHN'S other? BLOG!

hehe tumblr

Bleargh

Before the photo spamming begins, I'll just summarise my day into a couple of quick dot points.

  • Super late to school cos I was snoozing
  • Got to school during 2nd period (sorry ALICE! I had your shoes in the morning- alice left her shoes at my place on Friday night)
  • 3 on 3. *Sigh* If only people would read the reffing roster posted up on the main noticeboard.. or in their emails D: I wouldn't have to go around chasing everyone up. People just didn't turn up at all to ref, and that was depressing.
  • Tried a wasabi seaweed in Jap. Quite nice.
  • Lunch: reffed a 3on3 game for the first half and sprinted to training after I found Gaby as my replacement (for Beidi who didn't show up for reffing... Yes, I mentioned a name because I am peeved. I'm peeved by the fact that I missed out on alot of my training for this Friday's KO Touch games)
  • Double Eco: :( I suck at eco. You know what annoys me? When I try super hard during class to understand the concepts, etc and it takes me ages. The people I sit with don't even have to read it properly; they skim and understand. WHAT?! Is my brain functioning at 10km/hr in a 100k zone? I don't get it. You would think that and increased amount of input would lead to greater output yeah? Not true.
  • Afterschool, against my wishes, my mum takes my sister and I to afternoon tea. This usually drags on for ages. Which is quite terrible, as I usually have alot of homework due on Tuesday (now that I have some part complete, I'm more relaxed, thus blogging now)
  • Visited fitness first to ask about deals for ADULTS (ie my father) and maybe myself. Kind of shocked at the prices and the "offers" they give. I know FF have a bad reputation as liars etc. They'll do anything to get you to sign a contract. 8-)

For those who are interested, student membership at FF rates below:

These are both offpeak btw:

  1. 12 month contract: $10.95 per week, unlimited access to all equipment, classes and pool. $35 registration fee or something. enter the gym between the hours of 11am-4pm
  2. month by month contract (you pay by the month and are not binded by a contract stretching over a few months, and you can quit if you give 2 wks notice): $15.95 per week with $35 rego. 11am-4pm

For adults, anytime, any FF, unlimited access to equipment is $21.95 per week, though I think it's also a 12 month contract.

I guess I wanted to join the gym before (because of the pool), however the FF dude took me for a tour around the place, and all the equipment looks so daunting. There was this biggish woman just fully going at it on the pedalish treadmill thing. OMG. There were beads of sweat SO HUGE on her arms.

The guide asked me if I saw myself in her position. I couldn't help but laugh. That woman shot me a nasty glare.

Oh, I saw Michael, Benny and Danny standing around some weights.... standing around...

OUTING- SMH Careers Expo 09

ANOTHER BLOGGER HITS BLOGOSPHERE

CLICK HERE TO SEE LIUSER'S BLOG, THEBURGERHUT17@BLOGSPOT

Yesterday, I clicked on a link on Jero's blog and found myself printing out lots and lots of cubecraft characters :D Then I sat down with my sister and snipped and snipped and sliced and folded.. for a very long time.

We made these...

TADA. I love my spiderman (and bomberman). Garfield was a bitch to cut out, because of the WHISKERS and the tail T_T; The easiest was Domokun (♥ adding to my Domo collection)

That's her pile of mess. :) We had so much fun just listening to songs on my playlist (though we didn't really listen to it. She spent most of that time bitching about stuff going on at school x) and snipping.

scraps
This is my sister's bookshelf. Except all of the stuff on the bottom 2 shelves are mine, because I've run out of room on my bookshelf. Everything is stacked on the floor now. I won't have room to walk soon xD.

WHAT HAPPENED TODAY
TODAY: Richard, SY, Bosco, Christine, Justin, Drew, Winnie, Milo, Momo and I met up at Central station and boarded a bus that took us to Randwick Racecourse where the SMH Careers Expo 09 was being held. Most of us went in with free tickets we found at school, and we got lots of cool cool brochures/guide booklets with lists of UAI requirements for certain degrees.
There were also seminars you could sit in and listen to. They range from talking about how to do well overall in the HSC, how to maximise your UAI, to actually giving you info on doing well in advance english, biology, chem, math and scholarship info (le cordon bleu). It was quite interesting. I found the advanced english seminar helpful, but it was full of stuff we learn at school anyway.
ANGELA CHAN. I SAW YOU TODAY. AND YOU SAW ME TOO. I ALSO SAW KANNY LEE. LONG TIME NO SEE. :)
I ALSO SAW KARA CHEUNG.
(:
Anyway, Richard caused all of us to walk an extra 2k or so. HE DRAGGED US TO A JAPANESE RESTAURANT THAT WAS CLOSED!
WHAT WAS WORSE WAS THAT HE TOOK A HUGE DETOUR D:
Before we got dragged to that Jap restaurant, Winnie and I were planning on going to Pepper Lunch, because everything on the menu looks so cool, it's cheap and the restaurant smelled so nice. omg, i was sniffing through the door crack xD But Drew said it would be better for everyone to stick together. So we followed them to the gay gay gay closed restaurant. So after our unsuccessful trip to that horrid Japanese restaurant, we trekked back to Pepper Lunch (except it didn't take a long time at all because we took the route a normal person would take- the short one. D: D: D: richaaaaaaaarrrdddddd. We were all just fully verbally bashing him on our way back towards the city (yes. That restaurant was SUPER close to the Anzac Bridge.. we walked so much).
Winnie, Milo and I went to Pepper Lunch and the rest of them went to another Jap restaurant (HAAA.)
Winnie looking very attractive. (note: I will say alot of " Winnie & I" in this blog because for most of the fun parts it was just her and I, everyone left before us xD)

YUMYUMYUMYUMYUM

TUCK IN
Zoom in on the food that looks so plain but tastes so great.
This is what I ordered. Kenkuchi? something kuchi? steak. mmm the steak juice was quite nice. :D
Lunch was fun. There were jokes cracked, one involving broken faces and Peter Chen (which I had no part in btw, I had no idea what happened until today. lol) Hurrhurr. In the midst of us talking about the garlic soy sauce ( Winnie said to Milo: squirt that in your rice. However, Milo and I both heard " squirt in in your eyes" HAHA and that went on for a minute or so. Quite funny) I HEARD THE FALUN GONG FOLK BANGING ON DRUMS ETC, and then in the reflection I saw people marching.
I WAS SO EXCITED. I RAN OUT OF PEPPER LUNCH WITH MY CAMERA AND TOOK SHOTS.
This fat annoying photographer dude kept blocking me though. When I walked left, he'd walk left and when I walked right, he'd move right. So annoying. I wanted to kick him out of the way with my no-yet-sore-foot... The people looked scary. I don't blame China for being scared of these people plotting a revolution against the government. Haha, there are SO MANY of them and they're all so passionate about this stuff.
They played communisty music, but they had signs like " SAY NO TO COMMUNISM". Sorry to sound ignorant, but communism hasn't been THAT entirely bad right? It's getting better nowadays anyway. But I won't go into it.

Dootdidoot more paraders. I'm really glad I keep my camera on me all the time. I love whipping out my camera and capturing memories on a little blue plastic chip, which I can shove into the computer and share with EVERYONE else. :D [Digressing slightly, the english teacher who gave a talk at the seminar today said he always has a camera with him so he can take photos of spelling errors he finds in signs and noticeboards around the place... Anyway, after the seminar, I walked out of the room, and checked the time noticeboard and I realised there were lots of spelling errors! SPELL CHECK MUCH?]

Ladies in old, old, old costumes. Man... It's like the chinese opera clothes. I hate chinese opera. My mum used to listen to it on the radio, and omg, it was like excruciating. ITS SO GROSS> D: D: D:

Are these manchurian outfits? I don't see why they would wear these costumes on "World Falun Gong Day" It's just very weird, and not something I'd think about.
Man, when I see these folk in this type of clothing, I automatically think of all the olden day tvb canto comedy dramas I've watched.
Everything's so colourful!
WOO! ARMOUR.
Oops, I mean World Falun Dafa day.

I ran out a second time because after the first bunch of people marched away, ,I thought it was over, but I had to run back to catch a glimpse of yellow people playing minidrums. According to my dad, he knows how to drum on these drums (.. hmm. strange sentence).

Dootdidoot. Does this count as a protest? Anyway, there were so many asian people I felt like I was at school or something :P
Okay, so the main FUN I had today would have to be walking around after lunch. Visiting clothing stores to find nice clothes- eventually turned into a formal dress hunting expedition. I have photos, but I don't think I'll post them up. Winnie will cry. hehe. Though she needn't. She looks quite nice in something plain (speaking of plain. OMG $5 nice shirts in a little boutique @ market city- )
UAI ADMISSION GUIDES BELOW. Everything is to do with UAI or business/comm. If you're into that stuff, maybe I can help you. Just gimme a holler :)

This dress has a nice bubble hemline. I like the bottom half of the dress. So poofy.
NOTHING ELSE TO SAY. I AM SO TIRED.
GBYE ALL and checkout all the new bloggers ;)

OH HAPPY DAY

OH HAPPY DAY... *waves arms*
OH HAPPYYY DAAAYY.. *waves arms*
WHEN BEEL-LE DROVEEE (back up singers: when belle drove)
WHEN BEEELLLEE DROVEEE (back up singers: when belle drove)
SHE-E-EE DIDN'T CRAAASHHH (back up singers: no crashcrashcrash)

YES. I DROVE HOME ALL THE WAY FROM PARRAMATTA AND IT WAS SO FUN.

Haha. Every few minutes, my dad would be like "Pipe down" OR "shut up", and I would for a while, and then I'd start cackling gleefully because the needle on the speed gauge passed 55 or something....

YES. I DROVE OVER 35km/hr TODAY. I'M THE HAAAAAPPPIEST CHAPPY THERE IS :D

I swear, it was so fun. OH MY GOSH. I LOVE DRIVING.

WHEEEHEHEHE.

I didn't know he was going to let me drive home today. Last week I asked, CAN I DRIVE HOME? His reply was a COLD, cold, cold NO WAY. You're not ready etcetc.

Today he gave me directions all day while driving so I was zooming around N.Parra... Around 4.40ish, he told me to drive up a road I hadn't driven before and then !!! I SAW A FAMILIAR CROSSING. OH MY GOSH. IT WAS CHURCH ST. *WAVES ARMS IN THE AIR* Btw, I didn't really wave my arms in the air, because I was so excited my fingers gripped the steering wheel really tightly, I couldn't let go. :) And afterwards my hands were so tired XD

We almost drove 2 hours today, so I negociated with him, saying that I really wanted to get my Ps asap. He agreed (he also said I looked like I enjoyed it alot, so it count's as my freetime/relaxing leisure activity- meaning if I want to drive more, I have to not go on the computer as much XD). So we came up with some sort of deal. Because he takes leave on all Fridays (long weekend), he'll take me driving afterschool for 1.5 hours (YAY), and then I'll be doing 2 hours on Sat and 2 on Sun.

WHO'S THE HAPPIEST LITTLE HUMAN BEAN IN THE WORLD?

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

What happened today?

  1. YUMCHA-ed for mothers day, because my mum loves yum cha. My sister and I sort of hate yumcha because for like.. 10 years, we went EVERY SINGLE WEEK. It was torture. Haha, so my mum appreciates that we get up early to go eat at that dreaded place just for her. We normally go to Excellent, but it was FULLY packed, so we went to the Crabby Village (I don't remember what it's called.. my sister and I call this place the Crabby Village because it's at Carlo Village and.. um it's called Crab... something.) When we went in, my eyes went SUPER WIDE. I haven't seen so many non asian folk gathered in a small space in a VERY long time. So that was a sign this place gives good service to those who do not have black hair. And that sign was 100% correct. They gave us the crappiest table, there was crappy food (that non asian people like to eat..) and a crappy seating location. We were next to the bathrooms ==;. So yeah. NEVER AGAIN I SAY. But I bet next year we'll be going there again. I know this, because last year, the exact same thing happened.
  2. Went next door to Carlo court and walked around. I ordered my NEW PHONE, a treat from my dad. Whee. Though I have to say, I do not LOVE the phone I chose at all. I simply chose it because it was a great deal and had a 3.2 mp camera. The phone is also very ugly. That's why I chose it. So people would not feel inclined to steal that silvery gray lump of metal. I SHALL BE WITH 3, and HOPEFULLY GET TO KEEP MY NUMBER :)
  3. I spied Drew from when I first walked towards the 3 shop, but I didn't say Hi because he was eating with him mum. I find it awkward interrupting people just to say hi when they're eating. I also find it awkward when people interrupt me when I'm eating just to say hi. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, it's just awkward, cos I might have some superlong noodle hanging out of my mouth or something weird like that...
  4. Walked up to Bing Lee to look at their HDMI cables so I can link up the laptop to our supersized tv and rewatch EMERGENCY UNIT on the bigscreen. (TY to Cabbage who told me the price range of the cables... I told my dad yesternight about it, and we bought one today). We didn't buy the cable from Bing Lee because it was so darn expensive D:
  5. Drove mum to work (not me.). Eavesdropped on mum & dad's bitchy conversation about random people (lol. they're so hilarious).
  6. Dad drove us to Muirfield for the comp market. Kelly got a new mouse (so she can stop stealing my lovely rainbow mouse I bought in yr 8) and he got a $15 HDMI CABLE.
  7. I DROVE I DROVE I DROVE
  8. I DROVE HOME I DROVE HOME I DROVE HOME
  9. Ran to the front door and pounded on it. When my sister opened it up, my first sentence was alot of yelling. "OMGKELLYIDROVEALLTHEWAYHOMEFROMNORTHPARRAMATTA" :) Proceeded to my room, fetched laptop and linked it up to the TV with dad. Then we re watched ep 19 of EU for about 20 mins before changing to BOURNE ULTIMATUM before dad decided to go grocery shopping.
  10. NOW IM BLOGGING. :)

***

I am uncapped. Joy.

TIME TO WATCH MY SUBSCRIPTIONS. Yay.

BTW, I found out just then that JOHN has a blog. But he hasn't posted for a bit. It's so pretty :)

HI AGAIN EVERYONE.

I have another blog to add to my reading list :)

Joseph's Wordpress

He's very tech savvy :D

Hmm. I don't have much to say.. except school is starting way too soon.

GOOD SONG I FOUND ON YOUTUBE:

I Just Want You- AJ Rafael

If you want it and can't find it 8) just ask. Bah. Disjointedness. Stupid school. It's making me panic. You know what else is making me panic? People who have this stupid countdown to the HSC..

x: HEY BELLE
B: :O HI HOW ARE YOU LONG TIME NO SEE
x: yeahh. How's Ruse, you nerds
B: ==; I don't think I'm like most of them...
x: well study hard ! only somethingsomething(replace with number) days until the HSC
B: *no reply*
x: haha it's sneaked up on us yeah?

DONT FREAKING TELL ME HOW MANY DAYS I HAVE LEFT. DONT TELL ME HOW MANY HOURS & MINUTES I HAVE LEFT. LET ME LIVE MY LIFE IN PEACE :(

Freaking athletics carnival. I haven't gone out for a run for months. I give up this year. I also want to give up on Xcountry zone. Are yr 12s excused from going? The prospect of running another 4 K is making me feel sick.

Today, I started freaking out about my future. By today, I mean just 30 mins ago. It must be all this music. Happy music depresses me.

Dootdidoot.

Tomorrow shall be dedicated to biology. BIOLOGY IT IS.

LAVA CAKE VERSION 2

Chris was mentioning FOODWISHES.blogspot.com to me before, and I thought it had been ages since I've visited that LOVELYLOVELY blog. and oh my gosh. I FOUND THE SEQUEL TO THE FIRST LAVA CAKE VIDEO.

Chocolate Lave Cake 2.0 - Return of Molten Chocolate Love from Foodwishes on Vimeo.

It's so beautiful and I swear I can almost smell it.

Anyway. I HAVENT BLOGGED ABOUT THE ACTIONPACKED DAY I HAD YESTERDAY. And I'm too busy watching my current favourite drama Emergency Unit (omg Miu Kiu Wai is so YENG AHHH) So I'll just sum it up.

Saturday's Haul

VANITY SPREE.

1. Softlips Gelato Range- French Vanilla Chappy :)

2. Garnier- Pure 3 in 1 Wash, Scrub & Mask

3. The Body Shop- Tea Tree Oil Huile D'arbre Á Thé

4. & 5. Rubi Flats :O

Altogether= approx. $50

MY FIRST REVIEW (LOL)

8-)

So my most recent chapstick EXPIRED, and I wanted a new one asap before winter started D: It's sometimes chilly in the morning :/ Kelly recommended Softlips chappy :) Got it for under $5 which is good :/ I guess, because before I was hunting through Grace Bros, sorry, Myer (I keep saying Grace Bros.. nggh) and they had tinned lip balm for OVER $20 O_O First thing I did after I walked out of the pharmacy was to try it. Smelled yummy, and felt super soothing- menthol. PLUS FACTOR: Isn't shiny like gloss or anything :) (so boys can wear it too.. my dad used to refuse to wear lip balm.. he said it was too "girly" PSH. asif) MINUS: You have to reapply quite often. Unlike the Blistex Ultra Lip Balm...

Omg that stuff goes on white and looks flaky, but it stays. So I use that for bivs and big outdoor activities because it's water resistant for 80 mins or so and has SPF 30+ :D

Next item: Garnier Pure

This is the first time I've purchased any of the Garnier facial cleansing products. I don't like their shampoos because they're too runny =-=; and the bright green bottle looks really weird & clashes with the bathroom walls (lol).

Wash, Scrub and Mask. Honestly, the only difference between wash and scrub is that with scrubbing you massage the stuff into your face in a circular motion. : The good thing about it is that it sort of retains enough moisture in your face so that it doesn't feel dry. I used it this morning and forgot moisturiser and I feel A-okay :)

Tried the mask last night while watching Edward Scissorhands. :D:D:D (and Hulk) I had a greenish face. You can seriously feel it penetrate into your face x) and when I washed it off, my face felt smooth like a baby's bottom without poo stuck to it.

I don't think it's 3 in 1. Scrub = Wash, hence 2 in 1. I recommend it to those who have COMBINATION SKIN. :) esp the mask part. It feels niicee. Also, having 2 products in one is also quite convenient. I don't have to stumble around in the bathroom blindly looking for different bottles :)

NUMBER THREE: Tea Tree Oil. Okay, recently, due to increased snacking sessions :( I got alot of isolated but prominent spots on my face D: I was okay about it until one day when my dad says "When did you get so many pimples?" Before, 2 was not a number I would consider to be many, but after he said it, I felt slightly self conscious. So I had to find a product to ATTACK those invaders. This stuff comes in a childproof cap (Belle proof also) and took me ages to take off. lol. It smells quite strong, but I like the scent. Others like KELLY don't like it too much . haha. But its a natural and gentle way of conquering those little red rascals that pop up here and then. Hopefully it works. If it does, I plan on making my own little all-natural-organic skin care collection. (I've decided it's an okay thing to invest in, because I don't want to have saggy, scarred skin when I'm 40ish D:) Direction: 2 drops on a cotton bud and wipe onto any spot you want to get rid of. Do this about 3 times a day. :) $10 for 10mL. D:

4 et 5 numero; I needed new shoes because 2 pairs of mine died :) I admit, Rubi's shoes look quite the opposite to sturdy, however they were not expensive. $15 for a pair, 2nd pair half price. :) There. Good thing about these shoes is that they don't hurt (or give you blisters around your achilles area) like alot of flats do. So say goodbye to the days of wearing bandaids or elastoplast to prevent those nasty buggers. I'm scared the soles of the shoes will come off though. These shoes feel quite flimsy. I'll only wear these on sunny days. :) Don't want to risk the colour running off when I go out on a rainy day D:

So thus ends my strange/retarded review.

My last post was rather short. I shall expand on it here. KRISSYBUBBLES (AKA CHRIS AU) has a blog now. :) So I decided to link you all. This boy cracks me up and hopefully will crack you up too. He is one of the many musically gifted friends I have and claims to be pitch perfect (lol hehe jk). Stuff he writes is enjoyable to read, so if you have time CLICK IT.

Nggggh. So much stuff due tomorrow. I shall start homeworking now :)

Have a good week everyone.

early bird catches the wah?!

It is 3.40am. And I am still awake. Edit: I am STILL AWAKE 4.40 =-=;

There is someone else online. But he's playing Dota. D: Actually I've been on for ages reading a blog I found when browsing through Blogger :) It's VERY different from what I'm used to. Kind of glamourous. Designer brands, clothes.. designer water?!

XD

I walked passed many big name brand stores today. They have heaps around Martin Place. INFACT, I distinctly remember there being a shop called Posh! which sold big brand products. Once I met an auditor from Deloitte. One of his biggest clients is Louis Vuitton. The auditor let it slip loose that the price mark up would be as much as 200% from the manufacturing price. o_o;

Oh yay msn.

*many mins later*

I've never really been into huge designer brands like Gucci/ Louis Vuitton etc... but I guess I'm only 17 :) I don't know how people would be willing to pay over $1,500 for a handbag. Mmm. During the Boxing Day sales, mum and I managed to squeeze past flocks of people in the purse and wallet section of Myer, and we browsed at the selection of leather wallets. The wallet I liked was locked in a glass stand and I was lining up to ask the shop assistant to open it for me. Then this whale of a woman barges infront of me holding two really fug gold woven handbags asking about discounts etc. I was just standing there, gawking at the ugly shiny bag and when I heard the shop assistant ask for $3,XXX I was GOBSMACKED. Seriously, when one is not buying an electronic device or household appliance, how is it possible to spend > $3,000.

All that money... for what? =/ The design? I've definately seen better XD. The quality? I've heard from Topher (haaahaha) designer brands used to be well known for their quality.. but now the quality standards of a normal handbag should be pretty good, yeah? Or maybe people are just more willing to buy the brand name. x) That little golden plate that has whatever brand engraved into it.

Bah, I don't know. I don't own a handbag :) My current carry-around-bag is made of cotton and can fit newspapers and A4 sized books.

D8> I really can't wait until my mum comes back from HK. :) All these goodies.

Digressing, in hindsight, taking sticker photos with my dad was a truly peculiar experience.

Agghhh. My thoughts are all over the place. I'm too exhausted. Almost 4am D: Hopefully my sister won't kick me out of bed at 9am. I don't have work until Tues night. OH speaking of Tuesday- UNIVERSITY OPEN DAYS. UNSW and USYD. I actually plan to go to both :) Only attending the business/commerce lectures. Oh and hopefully seeing what their student council is up to. I love the sandstone buildings in USYD. So pretty. Their website is also much, much prettier/easier to navigate.

Because I have discovered a new CHEAPER sticker photo booth in the city (I shan't disclose on the WWW xD) I will go there on Tuesday and waste another $8 creating memories with special people.

WHAT I HATE: Time limits on sticker photo booths. =__=; Chatting to someone overseas on the phone and it's all crackley and distorted and you have to ask the other person to repeat what they said before... and them ask them to do it again because you didn't hear it the second time.

OOH HK NYE fireworks are quite cool. Fireworks shoot out of the building. I watched it on youtube at the Apple Shop.

woaaah the youtube screen is huge now.

Chocolate molten lava fondant cake

Yum.

Well, I'm thinking of baking that one day. I even have one of those oven-safe ceramic baking .. tubs? bowls? What on earth are they?

Nothing much to talk about today. Alarm went off at 9.30am today, but I rolled out of bed at 12.13pm. Bah humbug. Parents were watching Revolving Doors of Vengence (still are actually) in Mandarin !! I've just been revising my Jap (getting ready for the ext course) and watching vids from the ClickNetwork (another source of Sg entertainment).

Strangely enough, I went to bed before 12pm last night. So I got over 12 hrs of sleep.

Officially Year 12 in 2 days. I'm dreading this.

The one where she missed the last one.

I missed the last episode of FRIENDS last night because I was doing something else; don't remember what it was.

I have made an accomplishment! I feel like I can do anything (except finish a stack of work I set for myself in the beginning of the holidays) because this morning, I WOKE AT 9AM! This has cheered me up alot, and I couldn't help but gloat to 3 people already- and now I'm blogging about it!

What happened yesterday
So my dad was driving me to work, and then he turns into Shirley Street. I SEE JANETTE AND JERO. Even though we didn't stop to say hello, it felt nice to see a friendly face (despite it not being directed at me ...).

I was at the library for roughly 4 hours and I saw a couple of year 12s from school.
"Why are you at the library? Don't nerd! You're in year 11!"
What she said was wrong. I'm no longer in year 11. I've finished year 11. *grimace*
So the best year in high school is over? Honestly, it is way over. I thought the best year was yrs 9/10. I met new people, had an interesting life, performed at my highest peak etc, etc. Year 11 seemed like a drag. I thought it was rather competitive and busy.

Oops. I seem to have gone off the track. Right so when I left the library at about 5.20pm, my mum drove me to Carlingford Court to pick up some stationary/exercise books (turns out the ITO books I bought earlier these hols weren't enough). Then we decided to eat. Since daylight saving started, time has gone by so quickly without me realising. My mum, sister and I were eating and then we see Mawson come along :O. Turns out he was having "hor fun" for dinner. But I had no idea it was lik 6.30 already. So we talk, and then he asks me,
"Where's your dad"
And I stupidly reply, "Its Thursday, so he should be at work"
... der he should be at work on Thursday...
My mum takes out her phone and exclaims "WOW it's 6.30 now"
Then it hits me. Mawson thought we were out for dinner. I thought it was afternoon tea or something because the sun was still up (ooh. tricky!).
My dad was actually at home making dinner for 4 people..

So thats what happened yesterday. and AH! I have work in 8 minutes.

Just a quick mention,
http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/10/polyphasic-sleep/
very interesting. Talks about Polyphasic Sleep. Don't know why I was looking at it.

Gotta scat!

i feel content Photobucket

train

and now i feel like a spastic 8 year old. hmm. earlier topher and i were browsing through a site called pawpalace. and as its name suggests it was a online designer clothing shop for dogs. and no offence to anyone who dresses their dogs, but i found the site truly disgusting. why hide the beautiful fur coats? dog clothing is tight and restricting ==; only puny, skinny, annoying yappers like chihuahuas need clothes. looking at a chihuahua enrages me. i dont know why. i really hate on them. they dont look cute. shar peis look cute. chihuahuas look fug.

pawpalace sold stuff like overalls, discovery sets (like a baby mobile .. seriously..), dog beer, shoes, slippers, socks, formal clothes, and pads. YES ! pads for menstr-youknowhats. for PUPPIES?! wah.

despite the fact that it is 1am, i'm still online chatting to topher. and now we're talking about vegemite. he just told me visitor of the vegemite valley is a term for homosexuals. props to wikipedia.

btw, is it :

a. happy little vegemite?

or

b. clever little vegemite?

i cant seem to recall. oh well. i heard there is going to be guitar hero at vanessa's birthday bash this sunday. i cant wait. i cant wait until my dad grants me permission to go.

thats all for now. i have a very important email to type up
