Photoshop Fun

Friday was our day off, so I decided to download a newer version of the portable CS4 photoshop. The main reason for that was so that I could create a blog link banner to put on Rex's blog. Before I started, I fiddled around with the contrasted, hue, saturation etc in another photo to familiarise myself with everything.

I love photos that have high contrast but dull colours :) It's so easy on the eye.

Didn't get round to putting it in a polaroid frame. :D It has the polaroid effect. me likey.

So yeah. This is the banner. I took a photo earlier this year of the sky + cloud. Played around with the colour and contrast, added text, enlarged asterix and voilá, BLOG BANNER COMPLETED.
And then I started looking through some recent photos and photoshopped everyone's face. Photos were magnified up to 300x. So I know what they have on their faces now. T_T;

Got bored and fiddled around some more.
For the rest of the night, I sat infront of the tv. Watched some REALLY REALLY "been tai" mentally disturbing movies on SBS. First was a movie called powerpoint which delved into the complexities of the human mindset and people who are able to unplug themselves with reality etc. Seriously, it was so "been tai'' because the main character and her professor kept doing sexual stuff throughout the movie and my sister and I had to keep switching channels when those scenes came up. =.=; (btw, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH FOOTBALL ON TV NOWADAYS). Oh right, I forgot to mention, the movie was Japanese. After watching SBS consistently for the past couple of years, I can come to the conclusion tht all Japanese movies played after 10pm on SBS are freaking "been tai".
After that movie, we watched a German comedy titled "666 I'm sleeping with the devil" or something strange like that. And damn it was strange. But it had Claudia Schiffer in it. Lots of sex in both movies, however it was only implied in 666, it had an M rating.
Man. My sister said the jap movie scarred her for life. She saw something I missed while I scampered off to the pantry in search for snackfoods :) I decided not to ask about it.. :)
Anyway. Exciting news. CITRUS SEASON.
All the lemons, limes, oranges and mandarins in my backyard are are growing in a very voluptuous fashion. The mandarins are already quite big and orange mmm. Kumquats soon? or is that a summer thing... I can't recall. We have I think.. 3-4 little kumquat shrubs and 2 loquat trees. Freaking farming suburbs. X) I LOVE IT. The thing I can't grow here is STRAWBERRIES. Well technically, I can, I see the little red berry starting to grow, but the colony of lizards that live under my house STEAL MY BERRIES before they get a chance to grow bigger than a little blue berry. Leaves me heart broken, so I've stopped trying. I also tried cherry tomatoes.... freaking lizards took them ALL.
For the past 2 months, there's been this HUGE bunch of grassy-like leaves growing in a little patch of dirt outside the kitchen window. It's taller than me now. I almost chopped it down today because I seriously thought it was overgrown kikuyu. BUT NO. My mother tells me it's lemon grass.
HAHAHAHAHA
WHAT HAPPENED TODAY
My dad, sister and I went to woolies today and spent over $150 on groceries.
WHAT THE HELL. The trolley was just over half full. When I was a kid, $100 bought one and a half trolleys of stuff. I hate inflation. xD
Then we went to Eastwood and spent more money on food.
When I was sorting everything out in the pantry today, I found the most disgusting thing I've seen this week. It was a rotting banana in a plastic box that wasn't sealed properly inside a plastic bag that wasn't tied up at all. To add to that, it was LEAKING BLACK LIQUID ONTO THE SHELVES. I was EXTREMELY UPSET by this because, unlike my sister who hides food in her room, I keep all my food in the pantry (I'm open to sharing), the VERY PLACE THIS BLACK STUFF WAS USING AS A FREAKING HABITAT.
Anyway. My first reaction to seeing the black puddle was.. omygoshhh. far out.
So I picked up the grotty bag and peered in.
There were alot of squiggly moving things. And I lost it and yelled at the top of my lungs HOLY FREAKING CRAP. To which my dad responded by running in at supertop speed with his humungously long legs to where I was. When he looked into that mangled mess, his only reaction was "fxck".
Teehee, I found that hilarious.
What happened afterwards was boring. Cleared everything from that shelf, chucked infected items in the bin and BLEACHED the shelf. I hate disgusting rotting moldy items. Then I decided to rearrange the whole pantry because everything was such a mess (except for the junk food section, because I monitor that section regularly). But later on, when dad was cooking dinner, he was like... WHERE IS *insert item* and WHERE THE HELL DID YOU PUT *another item*. D: D: But in the end, its all good. My super packing/stacking skillz makes space in the pantry for other items that we no longer use that waste space on the kitchen counter like the JUICE fountain.

When we went to Tonyon today, we bought heaps and heaps of preserved foods and foods that have a while before expiring.. just incase the swine flu epidemic runs wild in NSW. My parents have been forcing us to watch every single news report on the swine flu, I know so much about it now... and that is not a good thing. Ít's driven my sister and I into this unnecessary paranoia. Like today, we were at Tonyon waiting in the queue to pay. And then, this old man behind us sneezes and starts spluttering. My dad, sister and I exchange looks, and we HURRIED AWAY sniggering quietly to ourselves. HAHA. I can't believe we actually did that, but seriously, for the rest of our time at Ewood, we just avoided everyone who looked sick. And yes, we know that we can be infected by asymptomatic carriers, but we can't go around avoiding everyone xD
I'm just rambling on now.. seriously, if only I could use this as my major work it would be so cool. I'd get it done in no time.
Digressing,
Winter depresses me. I look into my wardrobe for all my long sleeved shirts and they're all too short. Once again, my arms have grown. :( I have the longest arms evuurrr. Stupid genes, I feel like a yellow gorilla.
On that silly note, I'd like to bid you all adieu and happy Sunday :) (I look forward to picking up my free Sun-Herald on the lawn)
P.S. Cook a nice breakfast for your mothers for Mothers day tomorrow morning. Cook one for your dad too, while you're at it, cos he might get jealous. I know mine would :P (bahaha, jokes dad. I know you read this xD)
P.P.S I really need a vanity table. I have all these things that don't have a place to sit that I currently keep in my wardrobe.r *grumble* I also need another bookshelf. IKEA TIME 8) ♥
P.P.P.S Cat just informed me that mothers day is next week. My bad XD TY CAT

Hoopla & Misc

DEAR ALL, hope you're all well and safe. blah blah blah.

So a while back during the fete, there was a guessing competition- match prefects/src with their baby photos. Contrary to what you think, the toddler in the following picture, is me.

On the day of the prefect arvo tea, Thash and I were standing outside the Staff Common room and we saw the board of photos, so I told him to guess which one was me. HE IMMEDIATELY RULED OUT THIS PHOTO because I said "I'm the cutest baby there" D:

HOW IS THAT BABY (LOOK ABOVE) NOT CUTE?! D: D: D: [I guess I do have a big head :/ It actually looks quite strange now. Yeahhh. okay. I can sort of see the strangeness in the photo now...]

Digressing,

Promised photos from the Hoopla Festival, celebrating 21 years of Darling Harbour. I went on Saturday: 11th April and TODAY: 13th April because my mum and I didn't get to finish watching all the events that we wanted to.

The ringside: Team Loco. Just a bunch of people who like the do flips etc.

I didn't find it that entertaining because.. seriously, I grew up watching gymnastics, kung fu movies, and chinese/russian circuses. This, in contrast was dodgy and sort of crappy.

Pole dancing. lol

Lifting her into the air
I looked like an asian tourist :D
This is the place I never got the chance to enter. BECAUSE THERE WERE TOO MANY FRIGGIN PEOPLE TRYING TO GET IN. On BOTH days, I didn't get to go in. Far out.
The Tiny Top: A small tent with a stage.
I stayed in this tent the longest because it had a couple of acts I watched more than twice. I love it. :D
The guy had no idea I was standing next to him. He couldn't see me XD and he wouldn't stop moving D: I don't know what's with my expression. WTH IS WRONG WITH MY FACE nowadays ==;
Violin and Accordian. Okay. They played beautiful songs that accompanied a clown's act. I loved it. Temporarily fell inlove with the violinist because he played so beautifully. HAHA. Today, my mum and I sneaked into an alternative entrance (hidden one) and he was standing right next to me, out of his costume talking with a very clear Australian accent into his mobile :O:O and i was SHOCKED. because he didn't talk during the show (no one talks in the show).
THE Rosetski Brothers. ♥ SUPER COOL (speaking of SUPERCOOL, I FINISHED MY FAVOURITE DRAMA LAST NIGHT. I stayed up till 6am watching it on the first day XD) I just youtubed rosetski brothers. and I believe the ones we saw are FAKES. T_T; ngggghhh
The clown. My mum was stalking him on Saturday (Kelly and I ran off to Harbourside) and she said his wife is very beautiful and he has 2 or 3 daughters. Haha. HE IS A VERY GOOD CLOWN. TOP QUALITY. So amusing to both kids and adults :D TOP CLASS ACT. I watched it 3 times.

cloudy saturday
SHE FITS IN THE BOX. But i bet i could too :/ its all about positioning yeah?

VERY WET MONDAY

Pandora Pink and Mr Spin. Yeah. THE MAN IS ON TOP. :O:O:O WHAT A STRONG WOMAN. (btw she's quite butch D: ) Their show dragged on for way way way too long.
ANYWAY. Hoopla aside. What else happened today/ yesterday?

My dad has been an intolerable prick for the past while. He is irritating. Like an itch on your face that you can't scratch because your hands are tied behind your back. j:LKDFJ:SLDKFJ I was folding paper stars (a current liking triggered by Lulu on the last day of term) and he barges in and says WHY ARE YOU WASTING TIME DOING THIS?
My mind : because i have time (censored. in my mind, I swear. haaa ==;)
B: BECAUSE I LIKE IT.
Hmm. When someone shouts at your, your auto reaction is to shout back your reply yeah? Far out. he has such a loud boomy voice. :LSKDFJ:SLKDJF:SLKDJF
T_T;
ANYWAY. i said I would post pictures of my 2 day star folding love affair.

The box took ages to fold.
Hmm. my dad's shouting enrages me. his double standards enrage me. his favouritism towards my sister pisses me off and I think I'm not in the right mood to blog.
Oh and I can't teppanyaki because my dad is feeling irritated and says he doesn't want to listen to anything I say. (and I haven't said alot of to him today. I don't think I want to for a while .. )

recipe + bio fun

KERBAM: I baked today.

this plate is like 2-3 times larger than my imaginary head (WHICH IS PRETTY BIG) and it's been piled high with cookies. I ate so many today.

*sigh* to get this lovely shot at the cookies, I had to take 5 pictures because I was aiming in the dark (mum's in tv room so i didnt want to let her know i was still awake). Righteo.

The recipe for this is currently in the kitchen, but I can remember it. :D

you will need:

  • 150g softened butter
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence (VERY IMPORTANT)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 & 3/4 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup milk choc chip*
  • 1/2 cup dark choc chip*

* These can be easily replaced with nuts/sultanas etc. I experimented. almonds and chocolate works so well. mm. sultanas too!

METHOD:

  1. Cream the softened butter, meaning it goes a paler colour and is stiff-ish but not because it's cold but because it's been beaten.
  2. Add in the caster sugar and brown sugar gradually while mixing.
  3. Add the vanilla essence and keep beating
  4. Toss in the egg and beat for another 1-2 mins. The egg makes everything a bit stickier and have a smoother consistency, but it's also quite stiff (at least it should be :P)
  5. Put your beater/electric mixer away because for the next step you do not want to use it at all.
  6. get a spatula or some kind of nice stirring utensil and stir in the plain flour. BUT DONT STIR IT IN TOO MUCH, because it will become goey and gross. I use a choppy motion with my silicon spatula to mix my dry and wets together :D
  7. When it's all mixed nicely, toss in your nuts/chocolate bits and stir some more
  8. Roll into little balls (size? however big you want them to be. Take into consideration that they will expand in the oven.
  9. When they all look like balls, dip a fork into some plain flour (to make it not stick to your cookie balls) and push down the ball slightly so you flatten the top. I make criss cross patterns on the top and it doesnt show in the final cookie. Do that for all of them
  10. PUT INTO OVEN AT 180deg C BUT IF YOU HAVE A FANFORCED OVEN set the temperature to 160deg C. :D Leave them there unattended for 15 mins. After that time period, go back to check very often. If they've started to brown at the edge, you can take them out (when I say brown, I mean light brown not charred. lol).

The cookies are soft in the middle. yumyum

BTW BRANDS in flour do make a difference. I've been using home brand (because man.. i've been using their plain flour for ages) HOWEVEr I tried a different brand recently and I realised how different the results are! Homebrand plain flour absorbs up oil faster and I don't think it's that great anymore :O:O:O

ANYWAY we have more pipecleaner fun in bio today XD

AHAHA so cute :)

WOLVERINEWOLVERINEWOLVERINE :D
Okay. What happened today?
1. morning class- lost in translation (TY Mawson for the lift)
2. class
3. free- SIXTH SENSE
4. recess- nothinngg except ate
5. bioo
6. lunch- PROJECTOR RIGHTS MEETING, hokay brief summary: NO pirated movies (incl downloads D: which sucks) we'll prolly get a DVD player that wont play pirated dvds *sigh* and um NO MOVIES IN FREES (far out. T_T) I have to say. Didn't get a proper chance to say anything. Chris Au's chocolate wafers were just T_T; too distracting. jk jk. A particular COCKY person sort of hogged all the talk time and he/she INTERRUPTS everyone else talking so I just spared myself the grief/aggravation I would feel if I got interrupted like that. Honestly. Such a freaking hard thing to get a say in the meeting without getting refuted by that ngghish person. I'll say here, GO TAKE YOUR LAWYWER LIKE ATTITUDE TO UNI WHERE IT WILL BE BENEFICIAL. No one likes a smart ass in high school. I'm too chicken to say it to his/her face :) Many of you know who I'm referring to. teehee.
7. CLASS
8. CADETS. Hyde Park stuff. Nothing much to add. EXCEPT IF I SEE NATHAN REES I'll take a photo with him (and do a nice paintjob? hehe) or Verity Faith? Yeah. I asked if I could bring a camera and YESSSSS. teehee.
zz 1.17 i am tired
HAVE A WONDERFUL 4 dAY WEEK everyone
ps. its so cold now D: stupid weather

Yay for hydration

Why do I have to wake up with that little bit of hair sticking in that direction every morning? It's totally unfair. xD Damn natural waves...

It's pouring. By the bucket loads.

Most Shocking Fact For the Day ( MSFFTD): Rapidshare account expired ?! *breaks down* I was going to download Dumbo today. Damnit.

I've never liked torrential rain, or thunder, or lighting. I was in the city once when the sky basically opened up and dumped this sea of cloudy water on us. Water was running down the middle of roads, no one had dry feet- water reached ankle level.

So I just took a short video. Since I've moved here, I haven't seen the rain come down like that before. I've seen hail 3 times, but rain this strong only once :) I just watched the video, and you can hear Koop in the background singing "Come to Me". It's a nice jazzy song to listen to on a rainy day.

Rain stopped, but I can still hear thunder, and occasionally see lightning.

Suddenly lost the motivation to blog. =_=;

Hi All!

I have to go on a bivouac in a few hours. So I should grab some zzzs.

I'll blog about it when I get back Sunday arvo/night.

I am VERY impressed by Cleo + Topher's compositionS! I will upload on youtube a.s.a.p. :D

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE, I pray that the weather improves slightly...

day twelve

Why, oh WHY is my face getting wider and wider each year? This is horrible. I dislike photos like these.

A few cadetters :) juniorlings and one hscer :O

Nothing much happened today. Very, very busy with hw. Skipped off to the library after school and did hw! :D How studious of me.

Yoinked Jason's Ipod touch out of Mawson's hand and started playing games.

OH MY GOSH. I love those games.

: I miss guitar hero. :(

zzz. Sleepy. Slept in 23 mins this morning- but still sorta made it to morning class on time. One of the many benefits of living near school.

I still don't have many clear ideas for ext 2. I need to start brainstorming :( and to stop thinking cliche.

Sport might be cancelled? If so, yay! More time to do maths. Received a 5 for bookmark *flashes pearly whites*. YAAAAY!

Yesterday, a HUGE spider ran down my face onto the floor. My dad heard my croaky yelps of terror and came to my rescue holding a flipflop (thong or whatever you want to call it). and SPLAT. The remains of the spider is still wedged between the planks of the floorboards. : From today onwards, I will wear slippers in my room- no matter HOW HOT it is.

Australian weather is crazy.

Damnit. I wish it were the holidays already.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JELLY!

day eleven

Well, this is Winnie and Sandy's cake. Jackie baked it for Sandy as a fake-birthday present. It wasn't Sandy's birthday, but Sandy lied to Jackie during bio one day, and Jackie remembered. So yeah. :)

The pink is supposed to be maroon, but there was a problem with the icing! Cake was nice :)

Day eleven was nothing special. Just did math hw. zzz. I'm quite tired. I should retreat to bed now.

Oh! I was baking in the cadet uniform today. Seriously, we should wear something different in summer!

day six

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO TAKE A PHOTO (again!) YESTERDAY!

I was thinking of taking a photo of my cadet buddies BUT I FORGOT. *sigh*
Photo of the Day:

Leo, Jason, Rex, Alice, unnamed, Shirin.

LOVELY PEOPLE IN MY CHEM FREE! (yes. I have dropped Chemistry!)

This math bookmark assessment thingy is really stressful and scary. It's also very annoying and makes me do my math hw

Photobucket

Thank goodness there isn't much... over the whole week. Yesterday we actually had alot of hw- which was sort of hard. Today, I learnt something from Mr. Woo- and it makes me feel so much more enlightened.

Now I know how pi.r^2 and pi.D and 4/3.pi.r^3 IT'S ALL INTEGRATION. ALL INTEGRATION, I SAY! How wonderful!

Yeah.. digressing; sim if you ever read this I APOLOGISE for taking so long in Wearne's office. :( honestly! I went in there to fetch my orange form he promised me before maths... and then he started discussing my "possible mistake". The mistake being dropping chem. Apparently it was counted in my UAI EST! And then he proceeded to tell me my UAI ==; - even though I seriously DID NOT want it :( knowing it depresses me. Anypoos, he went on to recommend a book; which sorta felt quite awkward. I thought he was going to recommend me to see the counsellor or something. His tone of voice changed. xD

Mindfulness for Everyday Living- Christopher Titmus

The title actually sounds quite interesting =/ but I don't know. I don't usually read self-help/awareness books. I find them quite lame (no, not really. I'm the lame one... )

Yes. That's about it for today.

Oh. Today was really cold. Strange weather ==; Can't wait until Friday night. ISKETCH NIGHT!

AND OMG> NCIS! Damnit. Maths makes me miss everything T_T;

Sunday, October 19, 2008

My room is a blazing furnace

I'm baking in here. This is ridiculous. I've already drawn my heavy duty shun-the-sunshine-curtains and I feel like a piece of roast pork.

pig

I didn't blog yesterday.
Infact, I didn't even hop on the computer last night! I was on a family outing to the city. We used to go out quite often, but in the past recent months I've been quite busy with my affairs, and yesterday after work, I just decided that I should go out with my family!

Coincidentally, the MOTOR SHOW was there at the exhibition centre (i think...) but we didn't go in. It's a shame I totally forgot to bring my camera, because there were some pretty funky looking cars there. Popped into Harbourside and found more cars. Honestly, imo anyone who buys a WHITE sportscar is making a bad choice. The one I saw yesterday was quite fug =/ but that may have just been the model design.

Anypoos, I spend HOURS and HOURS hunting for a good notebook yesterday in all the Morning Glory's and the Chinese (fake) Morning Glory shops I could find. I am very picky. Very, very, very, very, extremely and UTTERLY picky.
- size
-colour
-pattern
-cover quality
-paper thickness
-paper colour
-shape
-texture
ALL VERY important factors I check when deciding which product I choose. Oh- and price. In the end, I settled for two, (because I couldn't decide- not unusual for me) and they're quite simple looking things. One's red, and smallish ; the other is funkily patterened- black, white and red. BUT THIS MORNING!!!! I found out that if I folded the red cover backwards, it looks like a waitress' take-down-order pad. :O

Very cool. Not that I want to be a waitress :)

D'argh! SO HOT IN HERE!

Currently reading: Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister
Photobucket
My confession: Yes, I copied Justin. I took the book from him once at school and read the foreword (prelude? I forgot the word.. Oh no! and I'm supposed to be doing 4u english.. nggh) and I was hooked. So I went home and started reading. DW I didn't steal his book- I'm wasting my eyes away reading an ebook. Yes. And I'm on the verge of not continuing the story, because the typos in this ebook is appalling. Seriously, whatever happened to dialogue should be a new paragraph etc, etc.

Oh @ Mawson (if you read this =/) to get more hours, you can ask. At the moment she REALLY REALLY desperately NEEDS people/manpower/labour whatever you want to call it. I was working my butt off yesterday with a colleague marking and marking and marking : and then one of us had to take a class because Mrs. Campbell was away :O So yeah, ask... I'll put a word in :) b/c she was asking me yesterday for names of yr 10s.

Bad luck to all those year 10s who don't know me =/ I've been offering jobs to alot of people these few days (I really feel like a salesman) and seriously, TAKE MY OFFER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!! Take the job BEFORE your school cert; because that's when everyone starts applying for the job.

Digressing, I'm proud to say that tomorrow, I will drop chemistry, and officially pick up English Ext 2.

Reasons:
1. I totally dislike the prospect of me, sitting in a chem class taught by Her for the rest of term four
2. I totally like the thought of reshuffling my timetable
3. Extra frees
4. 14 units is too much
5. A FOUR UNIT SUBJECT LOOKS SO GOOD!
6. I've started reading again (and writing)
7. Strangely enough, St Louis has inspired me to take up this extra unit of English
8. Hexagonal shapes attached to C-C-C-H chains really scare me.

So... GOODBYE TO CARBON CHAINS and Hello to long, long reflection statements + 5 frees

There are 3 classes for 4u english, and I was quite shocked to find out I couldn't make ANY of the offline classes :( I talked to Mayers about it, and she said I would have to reshuffle my timetable to fit my ext 1 into my timetable (it's currently before school on Mon & Tues) so I could use those mornings for ext 2! hehe so exciting.

The heat is making me stop thinking. My brain is melting!!
mmph

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICE!

boring non-eventful day

so windy today ! i did the laundry and had to hang out/retrieve all the clothes and by the time i reached safety indoors, i was dizzy from being blown about. the wind was crazy today.

i decided to upload this onto youtube today :)

not much happened today at all. last night/this morning i didnt sleep until 5am because i was studying ECONOMICS, yr 11 core- govt interventions etc. i did all this while i was in bed. got up at 1pm and was shocked to find my parents and sister in bed as well. so i had to make brunch. potato gems, bacon, porridge, toast, eggs and tea. not bad aye ? i found it quite satisfying.

for those who are interested in horror hyperfictions, [ c l i c k h e r e ] for The Dionaea House. it's so real, but .. yeah.. its not. i didn't finish it- supernatural things, horror, thrillers, etc freak the hell out of me. when i started reading i had NO IDEA it was to do with horror and supernatural happenings. topher just said it wasnt freaky. BUT IT WAS! so yeah. its good though xD

guitar-ed a bit, petted a few fluff pets on facebook, read more of the RTA drivers guide, read quentin's new blog and remembered HANA YORI DANGO MOVIE is OUT THIS YEAR. !!!! ♥ MATSUMOTO JUN. [/fangirlfit]

today i wanted to learn a new song i saw sim play when i was at her sleepover, but alas, my fingers feel too frozen to do anything except type.

ive been having alot of dreams lately. but i cant seem to remember most of them.

TPG DAMNIT! STOP DISCONNECTING ME! IT'S SO ANNOYING.

thing on my screen

"The Waiting Place......

for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come,or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow
or waiting around for a Yes or a No
or waiting for their hair to grow.
Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite
or waiting for wind to fly a kite
or waiting around for Friday night
or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake
or a pot to boil, or a Better Break
or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants
or a wig with curls, or Another Chance.
Everyone is just waiting." -- Dr. Seuss

see that thing right in the middle of my screen? its blocking the middle part of my screen- the most important part. i have no idea how to get rid of it. maybe i should reset my computer later. thats my solution to all problems. RESET!

good news! the shrub outside my bedroom has finally started blooming. i spotted the first flower today! its small and pink

i took this picture just then, through the window. the weather today is drastically different to yesterday's. quite shocking actually. australian weather - unpredictable.

b: dad, when will you give me an answer deciding whether or not you'll let me go to vanessa's
d: now
b: Photobucket so what is it?
d: my answer is "maybe"
b: Photobucket what kinda of answer is maybe.

i hate "maybe"s [almost as much as i hate chihuahua's]

so far, two people have mentioned the upcoming beverly hills chihuahua movie to me. haa. i wiki-ed it, and i SERIOUSLY have no intention of watching it :P it will make me froth at the mouth. i really despise those hairless, insect-like creatures. what a hater XD
