Inmates' tribute

ZZZ. Guys, this controversy is getting boring =___=;

Something almost as controversial- but at least it's fresh. :)

I wasn't going to blog about this whole MJ death, etc- but I mean, I blog about everything else (yes. EVERYTHINGelse :P) So I thought, ah- what the heck.

This isn't a tribute. Just my reflections.

I am a fan of his music. Whenever Rock With You comes on the radio when my family and I are sitting in the car listening to Mix 106.5, we just transform (yay transformers) into boogeying little party goers.

I love what MJ has brought to music, however he's created so much controversy, and the mass media- well, they destroyed him D: Yeaah. I don't know whether the paedophilia cases are real or not. I mean sure, he wasn't found guilty, but didn't he try to pay off the dudes who were accusing him? It's something we'll never know. But we know enough. He was a music legend.

One of the not-so surprising things that happened after his death was the "rip mj" phrases people used in their msn nicknames and blogposts, and the MASSIVE surge in mj scrobbles, oh and the ginormous amounts of MJ merc selling on ebay. :D Someone famous is always more famous dead than alive. Euughh, how grim. Yeah, well I've avoided listening to his music for the past couple of days. I don't know why.

Because I didn't know him personally and such, I've only seen him in papers, magazines and television, he seems immortalised by the media, so to me it feels like he isn't dead yet. When someone says MJ, a pale guy with curly black hair in a red military jacket pelvic thrusting pops into my mind. Haha.

It just doesn't sink in.

Something else that didn't shock me was the coming out of MJ's ex wife telling the media the kids aren't his.

My first reaction: derr.

But is there really the need to announce it to the public before the corpse is even cold? :/ I don't know how the kids would feel about it when they grow up. Question: where did Blanket come from? :/ I always assumed that he was Debbie's too, but I learnt today he wasn't.

But anyway. Where ever he is now, I hope he's having a good time :) and having a well deserved break.

I watched the Chasers on the weekend (or was it Friday, I don't remember) and they made a reference to him wearing his costumes trying to hide his identity, as well as his children's. At least he doesn't have to hide anymore eh. I can't say I'll miss him appearing in magazines and newspapers with new controversial stunts. But I guess we'll all miss his ability of producing album after album of great music. :)

His music is never disappointing. And goodness, it's everywhere.

Speaking of good music being everywhere, I FOUND MY BEACHBOYS TRACKS.

*GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN*

Digressing,

My sister and I watched Australia. I know ages ago I said it looked boring etc, but OH MY GOODNESS, I haven't seen a movie in so long that was so complete and good storywise. I'm so impressed by the story. SO SO SO SO impressed.

The scene near the beginning when Nicole Kidman sees the kangaroo being shot and turning to face the camera screaming caused my sister and I to scream (okay I lie, in our sick condition, we could probably only yelp with hoarse -lol hahageddit?- voices) with laughter and rewind and watch again. It's so good. ;D She's rarely this animated. HAHA. I loved it.

Okay. LeeAnne, I know you loved the scene with Hugh Jackman doing whatever. I just ffwed it because 2 hours 45 mins for one movie is way way way too long. Hahaha. Wolverine on Rollercoaster is better than him :) But he's pretty good.

There should be more "complete" movies like Australia. It's brilliant.

Oh, one annoying thing today: I called the school this morning, but all I got was the principal's voice recording *nggh*... It was way past 8. Why does the front office phone only start taking calls at 8.30 when everyone's there at 8 D: D: D:

Inefficient.

Ah well. I should be at school tomorrow. Shall be fun seeing you all again Ha. Much to discuss. Australia. Hehehe.

ehehe

haha I was in HK at the time Australia came out and all the fobs were hating on it - saying it was a waste of 3 hours - cos it was really boring.

so i got kinda turned off watching it - if you say it's good - it can't be too bad. (i still haven't watched EU yet :P)

MJ =(

Maybe it'd be better for it to come out now rather than later? I dunno. But I see what you're saying.
Haven't seen Australia yet, sounds like I should.
And you're right about the office's "opening" hours...

They could never have been his kids; they were white.

Belle, I cried, I truly did. Actually, I didn't. Way to confuse you all ;D

But seriously, I'm cut. The soaping scene was the greatest of all history, actually, maybe because i saw it in the movies it was all the more epic. I have to admit though, the greatest part of Australia was Brandon Walters (Sorry Hugh Jackman). I love that kid. And I loved Australia, in the movies anyway. I was blown away the first time i watched it because it was so awesomely over-the-top. After I got it on DVD it all kind of dulled.
