What are the simple pleasures in life? Listening to good music? Good coffee? Fine wine?
Mine include:
- touching fuzzy things, like 3mm long hair on my dad's head after a visit to the hairdressers, or the fuzzy seat covers on luxury coaches (or the new hills buses)
- listening to Norah Jones, while half falling asleep outside
- driving, no doubt
- watching my parents climb down the ladder of maturity and enjoy life from our perspective
- staring at pretty things.
- basking in the feeling of contentedness... like looking at that toy flower below.

It makes my day. Makes me smile. (maybe because it's cute, in an ugly way- a bit like that orange ferret we played with in maths today) I look at it every morning after I get up, and somehow, I feel lighter and I can get to school in a slightly lighter mood.
Anyone know where I can get these giant, brightly coloured toy flowers anywhere? I want to start collecting.

These used to make me smile too, but now they just look a bit scary/creepy like furbies (hehe Janette).
2 counterattacks:
I have a Furby. Or however it's spelt. It was mildly entertaining until it f-ed up.
When you "feed" it by pressing its tongue, it's meant to go, "Yuuum."
Mine goes, "Yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu-yu..." and won't stop until the batteries are taken out.
Ask Sharon or Sy about the toy flowers. They got me one for my birthday. Damn fruity.
